Zakharova said this in a comment to the TASS propaganda news agency. The representative of the aggressor country, which unleashed a criminal war against Ukraine, expressed the absurd idea that Russian athletes are allegedly adored by fans around the world.

"The measures taken by either the American or Western regimes against Russian athletes do not reflect the attitude of people towards our athletes.
