The team released an official statement on their website

Soccer club Aris from Thessaloniki, with which Dynamo Kyiv plays in the Conference League qualification, has decided to donate humanitarian aid worth 1.8m dollars to Ukraine. Greeks will send specialized drugs for cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy and medicines for people suffering from the effects of radiation therapy.

"We want to show our solidarity with the friendly Ukrainian people at times when they need the help of the whole world," Aris said on its website.

The official announcement will take place at a special ceremony at 17:00 on Thursday, August 10 at the Porto Palace Hotel in the presence of the President and Managing Director of Amani Swiss Irini Karipidis, Ukraine's Ambassador to Greece  Serhiy Shutenko, and Consul General of Ukraine in Thessaloniki Vadym Sabluk.

The first match of the 3rd round of the UEFA Conference League qualification between Aris and Dinamo will take place in Thessaloniki at the Kleanthis Vikelidis stadium.

TV channels that will show the match were already named. OBOZREVATEL will conduct an online broadcast of the match as well.
