Dynamo Kyiv midfielder Justin Lonwijk will not play for the capital team next season, reports "Dynamo Inside" Telegram channel. According to media, the player's agents approached Ihor Surkis with the initiative of a joint search for a rental option.

The 23-year-old Dutchman with Surinamese roots does not want to return to Ukraine because he is afraid of playing here during the war with Russia. The FIFA rule that allows players from Ukrainian clubs to prematurely terminate their contracts and leave the country does not apply to Longwijk, who signed a contract after the full-scale invasion of Russia.

According to press reports, two clubs from the Eredivisie and the Danish Championship are interested in the player.

We remind that Lonwijk moved to Dynamo Kyiv in September last year. The agreement was signed for 5 years.

Since then, he has played 18 games in the "white-blue" jersey in all tournaments, scoring one goal and making one assist.
