Dynamo beat Metalist in Shovkovskyi's first match. Video of the goals

Dynamo Kyiv defeated Metalist Kharkiv in the match of the 23rd round of the Ukrainian Premier League. In the first game under the leadership of acting head coach Oleksandr Shovkovskyi, the capital's team was stronger at the Avangard Stadium in Uzhhorod, winning 3-1.
Dynamo were considered favourites and confirmed this status throughout the match. In the middle of the first half, Kyiv had two absolute opportunities to open the scoring, but Buyalsky, Andrievsky and Vanat failed to take advantage of their chances in the same attack.
In the end, the match lasted until the last 20 minutes, although Kharkiv had been outnumbered since the beginning of the second half. Dynamo continued to put pressure on the opponent and naturally opened the scoring. Central defender Syrota made a great shot from almost 30 metres.
Almost immediately, the White and Blues striker Vanat converted Kabaev's shot into the net from a few metres out. Metalist managed to pull one goal back through Pryadun's efforts, but Dynamo defender Vivcharenko put the match to bed at the start of stoppage time.
Thus, Shovkovskyi's team gained three points and reduced their gap with Luhansk's Zorya to two points.
