The legendary soccer player made a candid confession

Former Ukrainian footballer and ex-Arsenal London defender Oleh Luzhny believes that midfielder Mykhailo Mudryk should not have gone to Chelsea if he was not ready to demonstrate his level there. According to the legendary footballer, Mudryk understood where he was going to play and should have been ready both psychologically and physically.

Luzhny is sure that Mykhailo should have moved to Arsenal then, as this team suited him better in style. Even if Chelsea offered better financial terms, it would have been easier for him to open up at Arsenal.

"If he saw the contract and the amount he would be paid, didn't his eyes pop out? If you come to play in a team, you must be ready to be valuable. Of course, the press will put pressure as his transfer cost a lot of money. But he is paid a big salary and he does not show anything. He will be criticized", Informator quotes Oleh.

Luzhny advised his compatriot,

"If Mudryk felt that he can not play at that level, he simply should not have gone and played in this league. You could have gone to Brescia or Genoa and played there. If he had proved himself there, then he could have gone to England," the former Arsenal star added.
