Russian women have declared for the Syrian national team

Five Russian athletes caused a stir in the aggressor country after it became known that they had applied for the Pan-Arab Games. The Russian representatives changed their names and dates of birth and applied to the Syrian team.

This is reported by the Telegram channel "Naked Sport," which has studied the applications for the tournament. Among the Russian women in the Syrian team are badminton player Darya Dhedhula (listed as Dasha Dhedhula), cyclists Tatiana and Darya Malkovas (listed as Tatia Malko and Darie Malko), track and field athlete Karina Poludkina (listed as Karina Polud) and swimmer Anastasia Sorokina (listed as Enas Sorkine).

The dates of birth of two athletes were changed in their profiles on the competition site: Djedjula's date of birth was changed from November 19, 1995 to November 19, 1999 and Malkova's date of birth was changed from November 16, 2000 to July 5, 2001.

"Since it is inconceivable that someone agreed in advance with the international federations of badminton, water sports, cycling and athletics (especially the latter) that Russian athletes can compete for Syria without an official change of nationality, and even with changed birth dates - we are in for a hell of a scandal," summarize the authors of the channel.

The source notes that the Pan Arab Games are organized by the Union of Arab National Olympic Committees and it is not a tournament where one can ignore the rules of citizenship change specified by the international federations.

As reported by OBOZREVATEL, Russian figure skating coach Alexei Zheleznyakov was furious about the conditions of admission of athletes from Russia with the words "they spit on our heads".
