A crying shame: Zenit framed the Colombian national team soccer player

The Colombian midfielder of Zenit St. Petersburg Wilmar Barrios accused the club management of deception and setup. The 29-year-old footballer was almost held hostage by the Russians, who refuse to let the player go to English Nottingham Forest despite the agreements.
Ivan Karpov, who called the situation a crying shame, said this in his Telegram channel. According to him, the English were interested in the transfer of Barrios back in the winter. The Colombian could leave Zenit for free under the rules of the International Football Federation (FIFA), which allowed legionnaires to break contracts with clubs from Russia because of the war in Ukraine.
However, the Colombian was honest about his desire to move to Nottingham but was asked to stay until the end of the season. Barrios agreed and then agreed on the terms of his contract with the English club. FIFA canceled the rule on the possibility of termination of contracts by legionnaires of Russian clubs before the start of the new season.
Nottingham offered Zenit four million euros and received a firm refusal. The Gazprom Club is ready to start negotiations only at the mark of 20 million. The footballer is disappointed with the behavior of the Russians and is determined to leave the team.
As reported by OBOZREVATEL, Norwegian footballer of Dynamo Moscow Matthias Normann refused to perform and left Russia because of drone strikes in the Russian capital.
