Ukrainian iGaming company Favbet became a general partner of the charity boxing event of the SpartaBox fight club, which raised UAH 5 million to restore a sports school in Mykolaiv and support Ukrainian soldiers,

The company said in a statement.

The necessary amount was raised thanks to a charity auction, which featured several valuable lots: boxing gloves signed by the President of Ukraine, an autographed portrait of the former commander-in-chief, a white gold and diamond glove, and the opportunity to award the winner of the main fight with a WBF belt.

A portion of the proceeds will also be used to support the Nestor Makhno Patrol Police Unit and the Combat Khrushchev Strike Company of the Ukrainian Air Force.

Aram Faniyan, who knocked out Mexican Francisco Mercado in the main fight of the evening and became the WBF world champion, also made a significant gift to Ukrainian fans. This is the 23rd victory of the Ukrainian boxer in the professional ring.

"Sport has a great power to unite people around common hobbies and goals. And the fact that this boxing night even exceeded its charitable goal is the best confirmation of this. Favbet will continue to support sporting events that contribute to the restoration of Ukraine and help our military. I thank the organizers for their professionalism and the athletes for their technical and spectacular fights," comments Denis Yakimov, Head of Sport Marketing at Favbet.

Favbet Group continues to cooperate with SpartaBox outside the big ring. Currently, with the support of the Favbet Foundation, the fight club offers free wrestling and boxing classes for children and teenagers from military families and IDPs.

The sports sections are part of the Stronger Together initiative, a large project of the foundation called the Superheroes Club, which unleashes the superpowers of Ukrainian children through education and sports.
