Russian military in the Kherson region takes boats away from locals: the Center of National Resistance named the reason
The occupying Russian army continues marauding in the temporarily occupied territories of the Kherson region of Ukraine. The occupiers began to take away boats from local residents.
This was reported by the Center for National Resistance on Sunday, May 7. They believe that in this way the Russians plan to replenish the number of watercrafts in their army.
"On the temporarily occupied left bank of the Kherson region representatives of the occupation administrations take boats from the local population. This way they are trying to reduce the shortage of watercraft in the Russian Armed Forces," reads the report.
The CNS noted that currently in the occupied settlements in the south of Ukraine, the Russian occupants have problems with logistics. Deputy Defense Minister of the aggressor state Yunusbek Evkurov, who failed plans to provide boats to Russian units, is responsible for the direction.
Earlier it became known that in the temporarily occupied territory of the Kherson region the Russian occupiers continue forced passportization of the population. For this purpose, the enemy conducts demonstrative raids.
During house-to-house visits, the Russians intimidate civilians with possible deportation and expropriation of property.
The Russians have also intensified their terrorization of the local population in the temporarily occupied city of Melitopol in Zaporizhzhia. Russian passports are demanded from local residents even in pharmacies.
As reported by OBOZREVATEL, in the temporarily occupied part of Zaporizhzhya region, the invaders are preparing for a counterattack by the Ukrainian Defense Forces. In a number of settlements they have begun to "evacuate" the population.
