Ukraine's defenders have shown that they are preparing for the Easter holiday despite the full-scale war waged by Russia. The 63rd separate mechanized brigade prepared Easter eggs and pysankas, including patriotic ones.

A video of eggs being painted in the field on May 4 was shared on Telegram by the press service of the 63rd Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. A female servicewoman used a gas burner to ensure that the Easter tradition was observed.

She boiled eggs in water to which she added onion peel. This colored the shells brown.

On one Easter egg, the servicewoman drew her brigade's coat of arms in gouache on a red and black background and wrote: "Christ is risen!"

"Wood, onion peel, paints, and a brush. We are preparing Easter eggs in atypical conditions, but we put our hearts and souls into our work. Our traditions are always with us..." – representatives of the 63rd Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine wrote online.
