On the morning of November 12, an explosion occurred at a local gas station in Kharkiv at 9:00 a.m. It is noted that the explosion occurred near the Southern Railway Station.
This was reported in local Telegram channels. According to preliminary information, a car caught fire there.
There was no air raid alert in the region at the time of the explosion. Emergency workers arrived at the scene and the fire was extinguished.
According to Yevhen Vasylenko, a spokesperson for the region's rescuers, the fire was extinguished within 10 minutes.
One of the gas station visitors was injured in the explosion, so the man was taken to the hospital with burns. No further information on the injured man's condition is available.
The fire did not have time to spread to the gas station equipment, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
The road at the scene of the incident is temporarily blocked.
