Dog from Kherson region was washed up on a board near Odesa: he was rescued by local residents. A touching video
The evacuation of people and animals trapped by the occupiers' explosion of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station and flooding continues in southern Ukraine. One dog miraculously managed to escape the flooded Kherson region on its own.
The animal on a board reached the coast of Odesa region. The relevant footage was posted on social media (to watch the video, scroll to the end of the page).
A tired and frightened dog holding on to a piece of wood was washed up on the shore near Odesa. Many other items from the flooded areas were also brought there.
Local residents rescued the dog: they calmed it down, took it ashore, and then gave it water and food.
Earlier, we wrote that on the coast of Odesa region, the current began to throw away household appliances, furniture and gas cylinders brought from Kherson region.
And on one of Odesa's beaches, the remains of a street toilet were found, which was also brought by the current.

- The Ukrainian military managed to evacuate people from the temporarily occupied Oleshky on the left bank of the Kherson region. The town was heavily flooded after the occupiers blew up the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station.
