14-year-old Ivan, who was left an orphan, has been taken out of the occupied Kherson region

Ukraine managed to take out of the temporarily occupied by the Russians territory of the Kherson region 14-year-old boy. He used to live with his grandmother, who was his guardian, but she died.

The occupants wanted to register Ivan in an orphanage. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Reintegration in Telegram on Sunday, August 27.

The hotline was contacted by a family from Kherson region, which left the region after the occupation and now lives in Kyiv region. This family had known Ivan for a long time, even before the move, but could not take him away from the occupation on their own.

"The Ministry of Reintegration and the "Ukrainian Network for Children's Rights" joined the case. The whole process of return lasted 22 days. Now the guy is among his own and starts a new page of his life", - reported in the Department.

They thanked the head of the board of the Ukrainian Network for Children's Rights, Darya Kasyanova, and noted that thanks to joint efforts, 26 children had been returned from the occupation in recent months within the framework of the project "Shlyakh Dodomu".

The Ministry of Reintegration appealed to Ukrainians to report facts of illegal transfer of children to the temporarily occupied territory or the territory of Russia by phone: (050) 562-03-13 or call the hotline of the National Information Bureau 16-48.

As reported by OBOZREVATEL, on August 7, Ukraine was able to bring home 22 more of its defenders. These are AFU soldiers who took part in battles in different directions.
