"A number of facts took place": the Commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine speaks about the scandal in the 155th Brigade
There have indeed been some scandalous incidents in the new 155th Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine "Anna Kyivska." The Army assured that they are trying to improve the command of this brigade.
This was stated by Major General Mykhailo Drapatyi, the commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He commented on the situation around Anna Kyivska on Tuesday, January 7, during a TV news marathon.
"A number of facts took place. For my part, I have a negative attitude to all these manifestations and to what could have been corrected locally by all levels of management. I mean all commanders, commanders," Drapatyi said.
"A very important factor is who commands the personnel and how. Work to improve this process is already underway.
"I am confident that what has been voiced will be refuted over time," added the commander of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

As a reminder, journalist Yurii Butusov claims that at least 1700 soldiers left the Anna Kyivska for the NWC. About 50 escaped from training organized in France.
All the circumstances are being investigated by the State Bureau of Investigation. The case is under the control of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Defense Minister Rustem Umerov, and Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi.
On January 5, Syrskyi held a monthly meeting, during which he ordered to strengthen the unmanned systems unit of the 155th Brigade. He also paid special attention to the "problematic issues" of this unit.

As OBOZ.UA wrote, on January 6, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated that in the five months since the beginning of the Kursk operation, the total enemy losses there have reached more than 38 thousand people. About 15 thousand of them were killed. Another 860 occupants were taken prisoner.
