Zendaya in a suit from the 1995 Mugler collection shocked the audience

On February 15, the famous American actress Zendaya attended the premiere of the second part of the movie Dune, where she played one of the main roles, in London, UK. The look of the 27-year-old star, in which she appeared on the red carpet, became the splash in the media and attracted the attention of all the paparazzi. The celebrity wore a robotic jumpsuit with shiny chrome elements and transparent plastic.

This futuristic set was not created exclusively for the actress, as many might have thought. In fact, this is the most memorable outfit from Mugler's fall-winter 1995 couture collection. Photos of Zendaya in a vintage outfit "from the future" were published by OBOZ.UA.

Mugler's outfit on the star of Dune: Part Two is a fully metal armor with silver panels and transparent plexiglass inserts. The costume featured corseted details that "hugged" the actress' figure, as well as built-in gloves and matching silver heels. More of a cyborg priestess than a sand princess, but still very much in the atmosphere of the premiere film.

The original costume also included a headpiece, but Zendaya decided to ditch it so as not to hide her luxurious hairstyle in a trendy low bun with a side parting.

At the same time, the actress added a blue diamond necklace from Bulgari to her robot costume, giving the outfit a large dose of glamor.

Zendaya could hardly move around on her own in her silver armor, so her stylist came to the rescue, who apparently had the idea to dress his star client in a retro 1995 robot look. Law Roach had his own sci-fi look, wearing a gray draped hooded jacket and large tinted sunglasses. Thus, helping Zendaya to walk, the two of them looked even more impressive and in the style of Dune.

The 1995 costume is known as the Machinenmensch or Machine Man and was designed over six months in tandem with longtime Mugler collaborator and artist Jean-Jacques Lauquin. The pair was inspired by the fictional character Futura from the dystopian novel Metropolis by Thea von Harbou.

However, Zendaya's robotic outfit is not her only look at the London premiere. Later, the star changed into a more practical outfit: a stylish, elegant black dress with an asymmetrical neckline. She also complemented this elegant ensemble with accent jewelry from Bulgari.
