And the first place on the list was taken by the city of Antigua in the Central American country of Guatemala (not to be confused with the island of Antigua in the Caribbean). The city has perfectly preserved the Spanish colonial heritage. And it will be easy and interesting for tourists to get around on foot.

Every visitor can walk along the cobblestone streets of the city center. Or they can explore the parks or even climb one of the volcanoes, which offers stunning views of the entire Antigua.

And it is the volcano climb that is called the most unforgettable experience by tourists who have already visited the Guatemalan pearl. Such a hike is relatively simple, although it will require some physical training. Trained guides will organize everything so that no member of the group will be exhausted, and the reward will be a breathtaking landscape.

Tourists who have already taken such an excursion are advised to choose clothes and shoes that you will not be sad to spoil. Also, get on the road as early as possible. By the way, horseback riding is available too.
