The explosion allegedly occurred near the Mega shopping center on Metallurgov Street.
"Witnesses said that a loud explosion was heard near Metallurgov Street in Yekaterinburg, after which locals saw flames. The smoke from the fire could be seen from several kilometers away," one of the Russian social media resources said.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the aggressor country hurried to the scene. Later, the Russian agency reported that a shared garden of 250 square meters was allegedly on fire.
It should be reminded that on the night of August 12, it was noisy in the Moscow region. Russians complained about explosions in the town of Shchelkovo, which was allegedly attacked by UAVs. The target of the attack drones could be the occupiers' Chkalovsky military airfield. It was also loud in Voronezh.
As reported, on the night of August 9, loud explosions were heard in the Russian city of Lipetsk and a fire broke out near the military airfield as a result of detonated ammunition. After that, evacuation was announced in the nearby settlements, and Russian aviation also began to leave the base.
The consequences of the strike by Ukrainian troops on the Lipetsk airfield were recorded by satellite images. They show that the shell depots have been practically leveled to the ground.
