Fargo

Jerry, who works as an ordinary salesman in his father-in-law's car dealership, is going through hard times. To cope with his financial problems, he tries various schemes and decides to pull off a risky scam: organize the kidnapping of his pregnant wife. The situation gets out of hand. Jerry covers his tracks after the unexpected bloodshed, and meanwhile, detective Marge Gunderson begins to investigate the crime. The film won two Oscars, as well as awards for directing from the British Academy and the Cannes Film Festival.
Whiteout

"Whiteout" is a detective thriller adapted from the comic book of the same name by Gregory "Greg" Rucka and Steve Lieber. Carrie has to investigate a strange murder at a station above the Arctic Circle. She has only three days to catch the first serial killer in the history of Antarctica. The situation is complicated by the approaching polar night. The plot is tied to an incident that allegedly took place 50 years ago at the Soviet Vostok base, from where an airplane with an important cargo took off.

FBI agent Jane Benner is convinced that it is a murder. Corey agrees to help with the investigation, but he thinks the girl just got lost and died of cold. Soon it becomes clear that Jane was right, because another body is found on the reservation...

Each of his crimes has two characteristic features: all the victims are married women, and a snowman always remains at the crime scene...
Murder on the Orient Express
