The famous Irish actor Jack Gleeson, best known for his role as Joffrey Baratheon in the Game of Thrones series, will soon come to Ukraine. The celebrity admitted that he could not be indifferent to someone else's misfortune, so he promised to visit our country not empty-handed.

Ukrainian filmmaker Katia Chepura posted about the visit of the world celebrity on Facebook. She noted that because she didn't speak English, she was afraid to write to Gleeson, especially since she considers herself a huge fan of the Irishman. "I don't speak English, so it was quite intimidating to start a conversation with Jack, especially since I'm one of his biggest fans. As a filmmaker, I admired how cool he was playing the disgusting King Joffrey. Later, I realized that it was much cooler than that because in real life, Jack is the exact opposite of his character," Chepura wrote.

The director noted that Gleeson will stay in Ukraine for three to four days. She admired the actor, emphasizing that a person who has nothing to do with our country decided to support Ukrainians in such a difficult time for us. In addition, the star promised to bring a pickup truck for the Armed Forces.

"But my post is about how cool it is that a person who has nothing to do with Ukraine decided to come here and support us. On days when we give up, people like this make us believe that we are not alone in the fight against Mordor and that someone else cares about Ukraine besides us... I just found out that Jack is not just going to Ukraine, he is also driving a pickup truck for the Ukrainian Armed Forces with his friends," said Kateryna.
