What will the iPhone 17 Pro be like: details revealed online
The release of a new iPhone is an important event in the world of high technology. Despite the fact that the official presentation of the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max is expected only in September 2025, there are already many rumors about these gadgets.
Insider information about what the premium models might look like appears on the web. MacRumors publication provided the details.
According to preliminary data, the iPhone 17 Pro models will have an aluminum frame. The iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro models have a titanium frame, and the iPhone X to iPhone 14 Pro are made of stainless steel. Presumably, the back of the devices will have a new design "part aluminum, part glass."
It is also expected that the gadgets will have a "larger rectangular camera protrusion" made of aluminum.
An important update will be the A19 Pro chip. Experts say that the iPhone 17 Pro will use the next-generation Apple A19 Pro chip, which will be manufactured using the newer 3nm third-generation TSMC process. Therefore, we can expect a slight increase in performance and energy efficiency compared to current iPhones.
The Wi-Fi 7 chip developed by Apple will also be updated. According to rumors, at least one iPhone 17 model will receive a Wi-Fi 7 chip developed by Apple, not Broadcom.
All four iPhone 17 models will have an updated 24-megapixel front camera (for comparison, the iPhone 16 models are equipped with a 12-megapixel front camera).
The iPhone 17 Pro models will have an updated 48-megapixel main camera.
Earlier, the network noted that Apple had increased 12 GB of RAM exclusively for the iPhone 17 Pro Max, but now it is said that the improvement also applies to the iPhone 17 Pro. This update should help improve Apple Intelligence performance and multitasking.
By the way, a previous report on the ultra-thin iPhone 17 Air said that the iPhone 17 may remove the SIM card. It is known that the smartphone will be very thin (5-6 mm), which is one of the reasons why there may not be enough space for a physical SIM card.
