What to watch in February: the best series coming soon
The winter holidays are behind us and a new season is starting for TV series fans. This month, a lot of new shows will be released, which promise to be real events.
To help you navigate the new releases, the BBC has compiled the top ten best series. The list includes projects in different genres and styles, so you'll definitely have plenty to choose from.
Miss Austen
Release date: February 2
Jane Austen went down in history as one of the most famous British writers. But the fate of her sister Cassandra was no less interesting. The series, which is an adaptation of the bestseller by Gill Hornby, is dedicated to her. He was struck by the fact that after Jane's death, Cassandra burned most of the letters from her sister, with whom she had kept up a lifelong correspondence.
At the beginning of the show, Cassandra visits a friend named Isabella. The formal reason is to support her, but the real reason is to find the letters that could allegedly harm the woman's reputation.
