What the world's smallest woman looks like and why 29-year-old Jyoti Amge never leaves the house without makeup. Photo
In 2011, 29-year-old Jyoti Amge officially became the Guinness Book of World Records' smallest woman in the world. Her height is only 62 centimeters and has not changed for 26 years. The girl has been suffering from chondrodystrophy, a form of dwarfism, since birth.
As a child, the native of Nagpur, India, was not allowed to play with other children because of her fragile body. Today, however, Jyoti Amge has found a way out of the situation and communicates with people through social media, the Daily Star reports (scroll to the bottom of the page to see the photo).
Due to her short stature, the girl cannot leave the house on her own, hardly uses the kitchen stove and cannot reach most door handles. She has to live in a confined space where things are customized for their owner.
However, this hasn't stopped Jyoti Amge from earning money. She creates content for her 1.3 million Instagram followers in her room. In addition, the social media star is sometimes invited to appear on television and in movie projects.
The Guinness World Record holder has become accustomed to her popularity and has learned to enjoy the attention around her. Jyoti Amge never forgets about her makeup as fans are waiting for her on the streets.
According to her, others always pay attention to her short stature. Thus, she applies makeup not even hoping to go unnoticed.
Clothes are not made for adults of this height, so the influencer also trains her design skills. The outfits in her wardrobe are unique and original.
Despite her unusual appearance, Jyoti Amge is always friendly and cheerful. Her fans admire her sense of humor and positive attitude.
