A thriller called A Nearly Normal Family has taken over Netflix as fans continue to rave about it. The miniseries was released in November 2023.

Based on the novel by M.T. Edvardsson, A Nearly Normal Family tells the story of the Sandell family: lawyer couple Ulrika and priest Adam, as well as their teenage daughter Stella, Metro writes. Their lives are turned upside down when the daughter is accused of murdering her boyfriend, who is 15 years older.

In the six-part series, everything falls into place as the family's secrets are revealed, while the characters struggle to maintain their idyll and protect their daughter. Meanwhile, the audience tries to find out if Stella is really a murderer or if she has been unjustly accused.

The series' rating on IMDb is 7/10. Rotten Tomatoes has a stunning 76%. Viewers note that it is impossible to pause the series because the plot keeps the intrigue until the very end of the show.

"Great story, acting and good pacing. I have to say this is one of the best miniseries I've seen to date and I hope there are more on this level in the future. Do yourself a favor and watch this one. You won't be disappointed," one review reads. "Great acting, well produced and directed. Fascinating depth of the soundtrack," another user said.
