What holidays are celebrated on September 25

September 25, according to the New Julian calendar, is the day of remembrance of St. Ephrosyne of Alexandria. Euphrosyne lived in Alexandria and became famous for pretending to be a young man in order to settle in a monastery and lead a solitary life of prayer. The monks did not recognize the disguised girl. Efrosynia lived in a secluded cell for 38 years, and only before her death did she tell her father her secret, asking to be buried next to her mother. After his daughter's death, the father took up monasticism himself and lived in the same monastery, and gave all his property to the needy.

World Pharmacist Day was established by the Council of the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) in 2009. In Ukraine, the Pharmacist Day is celebrated annually on the third Saturday of September.

The first World Lung Day was celebrated in 2016, and the idea was proposed by Michiaki Mishima, President of the FIRS Kyoto Assembly. Polluted environment, tobacco consumption, and poor living conditions affect lung health, so it is important to undergo regular examinations and try to lead a healthy lifestyle.

If you have a cherished dream that depends on you, but you keep putting it off, September 25 is the time to take action. Every year, World Dream Day inspires, empowers, and encourages you to achieve your goals.
