Saints Alexander, John and Paul, patriarchs of Constantinople, lived in different times, but they were united by the fact that all had to face persecution and persecution. St. Alexander (325-340) was a vicar under the first patriarch of Constantinople. He defended the Christian Church and was said to be able to heal the sick. St. John the Lenten (582-595) was patriarch of Constantinople from 582. He actively fought for the spread of the Christian faith, was characterized by great piety, asceticism and charity for the poor.
