One day a woman named Zoe came to Martinian and tried to seduce him. However, the saint remained faithful to his vows and did not succumb to temptation. After this incident, Martinian settled on a desert island, where he continued to pray and fast. In Christianity, the saint is considered the patron saint of family fidelity and a protector against temptation.
World Radio Day is celebrated annually on February 13. The holiday was proclaimed by UNESCO in 2011 to emphasize the importance of radio as a medium, a platform for communication and the dissemination of ideas. It was on this day in 1946 that UN Radio first went on the air, broadcasting from the organization's headquarters.
The idea of the Digital Learning Day came about to emphasize the importance of integrating digital technologies into the educational process. The day was first celebrated in the United States in 2008 and later gained international recognition.
