On November 1, Ukrainian tennis player Marta Kostiuk and her husband Heorhii Kyzymenko celebrated their first wedding anniversary. The couple got married in 2023 in Cyprus, having a lavish wedding where the 22-year-old athlete wore an unusual two-piece dress. Later, one of the brands released a replica of the outfit for participation in matches.
Kyzymenko, who is five years older than his partner, and Kostiuk have known each other since childhood. Born in Uman, Heorhii also tried to build a tennis career but later flew to the United States to study and started financial trading. The young man proposed to his beloved in April of 2021.

Before that, Kostiuk dated Russian tennis player Alexei Zakharov. The relationship began when the Ukrainian was only 15 and Zakharov was 17. The young people went on vacation together. However, in 2020, our athlete announced her breakup with Alexei.
