The third season of the White Lotus series, which HBO has scheduled to shoot in Phuket and Bangkok in February, has already disappointed a conscious part of the audience. Miloš Biković, a native of Serbia, joined the cast.

He publicly supported Russia in its policy after the invasion of Ukraine and filmed in the occupied Crimea. Russian-speaking viewers know Miloš for his roles in the TV series Son of a Rich, Hotel Eleon and others. Photos of the actors were published on Instagram.

Viewers were promised to make the new season "longer and crazier". No details about the characters have been released, but as Deadline reported in November, the characters will include a patriarch, a corporate executive, an actress, a couple of mothers, a loser, and a yogi.

The filming will take place in Thailand, where the events of the third season will take place. However, a certain number of viewers have already threatened to boycott the series if Miloš is cast.

They don't even try to call him a Serbian actor because Miloš gained his fame in Russia. In 2021, he publicly stated that "Russia moves in its own way, and Europe does not understand it."

Later, the disgraced actor revealed that it is "Russians" who live in Crimea and that they "decided to join the Russian Federation through a referendum". Even the Center for Countering Disinformation (CCD) laughed at this statement.

Miloš also has Russian citizenship, which he received exactly one year before the full-scale war in Ukraine.
