The most unusual hotels in the world

When planning a trip, experienced tourists plan everything to the smallest detail. They immediately decide which locations to visit, where to go for a delicious meal, and, of course, where to stay for the night. Some people choose comfortable apartments with their own kitchen, others book a luxurious all-inclusive room. And then there are those who care about the concept of the place.

We have put together a selection of hotels that impress with their originality.

Poseidon Undersea Resort, Fiji

For lovers of the underwater world, this hotel will be a real find. Here you can enjoy the seascapes and watch the inhabitants of the deep.

The building itself is constructed on the basis of an underwater station at a depth of 12 meters. All of its rooms have the same capsule shape. The walls, ceiling and floor are made entirely of glass. But don't worry: it's very strong. So neither water pressure nor guests from the sea will be able to damage it. All 25 rooms are connected by corridors. If desired, the cabin can be disconnected from the pipe to go to the surface.

Each living space is decorated with expensive marble and leather. Poseidon Undersea Resort also has its own SPA center, a wine cellar, and 6 restaurants that are different from each other. Guests can also go diving, yachting, windsurfing, or go on a boat trip.

We won't hide the fact that a stay in such an underwater kingdom will cost you a lot. But if you have the opportunity, why not stay here for a few days?

The Ice Hotel, Sweden

Not ready to spend the night underwater? Then you can book a room in the real castle of the Snow Queen. This ice complex is rebuilt every winter. As expected, everything in it is made of natural materials. Even the beds breathe coolness. To prevent guests from freezing their kidneys and other parts of their bodies, everything is covered with reindeer skins. Only the bravest stay here for the night as the indoor thermometer does not rise above 7 degrees Celsius. You must admit that few people are used to sleeping in sub-zero temperatures.

Usually, a hotel room is rented for only a few hours. Wedding ceremonies and themed events are also often held here. By the way, now is the time to visit The Ice Hotel. In a few months, it will start to melt and disappear once again.

Kagga Kamma, South Africa

If you've always been interested in how primitive people lived, this is the place to go. This unusual complex is built in a rock in the middle of an untouched desert. There are only ten rooms in the "cave". But each of them is unique. For example, the walls of the Neanderthal room are decorated with drawings.

And one of the rooms has no roof. You probably won't believe it but despite the lack of a roof, it is the most expensive. After all, it is in this room that you can understand how our ancestors lived and, of course, admire the starry sky.

According to our conventional wisdom, the rooms are furnished primitively. A bed, a nightstand, a table, a wardrobe. That seems to be all there is in terms of furniture. However, the whole point is not in the expensive and chic design but in the feelings.

By the way, there is a SPA room to relieve tension. So if guests were not ready for such living conditions, they can relax during a massage. We are lucky to live in the 21st century.

Treehouse Lodge, Peru

Show us a person who hasn't dreamed of a treehouse as a child. There are no such people. Nowadays, each of us has a great opportunity to make our dreams come true.

In Peru, near the unexplored Amazon, there is this hotel complex. Its rooms are located at a height of 10 meters. There is an abyss below and a real jungle around. It's a paradise and nothing more. To get to Treehouse Lodge, you have to walk across a wooden bridge over the abyss. It seems to be nothing, but when you step on the shaky crossing, your courage runs away. Don't worry: everything is securely fastened.

Roarsome Adventures, UK

There are not only motorhomes in the world but also entire hotels. Do you like this concept? Then plan your trip to the UK. At first glance, it seems impossible to turn around in public transportation. But this is a misconception. Inside the bus, there is all the necessary furniture: a bed, wardrobe, bedside tables, kitchen and, of course, a bathroom.

Guests are invited not only to spend the night in the yellow beauty but also to go to the wild beach. It is located a mile away. There is also a small zoo on the territory of the unusual complex. You can even feed the animals.
