"Ukrzaliznytsia has launched a new special train to the mountains. Source: "Ukrzaliznytsia"
Ukrzaliznytsia has appointed a new train to Vorokhta (Ivano-Frankivsk region), a popular tourist destination. However, it will be temporary - flights are scheduled for the period from December 18, 2024, to January 12, 2025. The cost of compartment tickets for the December 18 flight from Kharkiv is UAH 1051.07.
This was reported by the carrier itself. They noted that the train received the number 201/202.
"From December 18 to January 12, an additional train number 201/202 will run on the route Kharkiv - Vorokhta - Kharkiv. It will complement the schedule of train No. 1/2 with the same connection, which currently runs every other day. ... The train has compartment and suite cars, as well as seats for people with disabilities," the statement said.
How much do tickets cost?
For the December 18 flight from Kharkiv, tickets are sold for compartment and luxury cars. They cost
- in a compartment - UAH 1051.07;
- in a luxury class - 2578.86 UAH.

You can buy tickets for the new train 201/202 Kharkiv - Vorokhta in the Ukrzaliznytsia app. And in addition:
- on the updated website of the carrier;
- in its chatbot;
- at the railway station ticket offices.
Schedule of the new train
According to Ukrzaliznytsia, the train will make its first trip from Kharkiv on December 18. It will continue to run every day thereafter:
- on even numbers in December;
- on odd numbers - in January.
The departure time from Kharkiv is 18:25. Arrival in Vorokhta is at 13:59 the next day.
The train will start running from Vorokhta on December 19. It will depart:
- on odd numbers in December;
- on even numbers in January.
Departure from Vorokhta is at 16:30. Arrival in Kharkiv is at 12.56 the next day.
As OBOZ.UA reported, at the same time, Ukrzaliznytsia suspended a number of trains for technical reasons. They will not run from December 15 to January 13. However, the carrier has appointed other trains that will run on alternative routes instead.
