Ukrzaliznytsia has launched a new Intercity+ train on a popular route: ticket price
Ukraine has launched a new train on the popular route between Kyiv and Lviv. The first flight from Lviv will take place on June 10. The cost of tickets depends on the class of the carriage and the city of departure.
This was reported by Ukrzaliznytsia. They noted that the train received the number 741/742.
The type of train is Intercity+, which means daytime high-speed. A double-decker Škoda CityElefant will be used for the service.
"We are strengthening the daytime connection between Kyiv and Lviv with a new high-speed Intercity+ train No. 741/742 Kyiv – Lviv. You can view the schedule and buy tickets in the Ukrzaliznytsia app and on the updated website," the statement said.
How much do tickets cost?
Train tickets are sold for 1st and 2nd class seats. For example, for the June 17 flight from Lviv to Kyiv, they cost:
- 1st class – UAH 764.41;

Train schedule
The train started running from Kyiv on June 9. The train will run every:
- Wednesday;
- Friday;
- Sunday.
Departure is at 14:45. Arrival to:
- Korosten – 16:26;
- Pidzamche – 20:42;
- Lviv – at 20:56.
From Lviv, the train will start running on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays starting June 10. Departure is at 08:10. Arrival at:
- Pidzamche – 08:21;
- Korosten – 12:31;
- Kyiv – 14:10.
As reported by OBOZ.UA, at the same time, Ukrzaliznytsia is changing the schedule of suburban electric trains – the so-called electric trains. The reason is the intention to reduce electricity consumption. In particular, some trains will temporarily stop running, while others will change their frequency or have their routes restricted.
