"Ukrzaliznytsia" has appointed a "special" train: how much do tickets cost

"Ukrzaliznytsia" has launched a new train №777/778 from Kyiv to Lviv. However, the train will be temporary, as it is scheduled to run only during the winter holidays. Tickets for the December 27 flight from Kyiv start at UAH 280.1.

This was reported by "Ukrzaliznytsia" itself. They noted that a Skoda double-decker electric train will run on the route.

"We are scheduling an additional high-speed train from Kyiv to Lviv for the winter holidays. Tickets are already on sale," the statement said.

According to "Ukrzaliznytsia," the train will depart from Kyiv on December 24, 26, and 27, as well as January 2 and 8 at 06:51. Arrival in Lviv is at 13:23.

Departure from Lviv is at 14:10 on the same dates. Arrival in Kyiv – at 20:10.

How much do tickets cost for the new train to Lviv

For the December 27 departure from Kyiv, tickets are sold for 1st and 2nd class cars. Their prices are as follows:

• 1st class – 1102.96 UAH;

• to 2nd class – from 280.1 to 622.51 UAH.

Several trains have been canceled in Ukraine

For technical reasons, "Ukrzaliznytsia" has suspended several trains. They will not run from December 15 to January 13.

According to "Ukrzaliznytsia," the following trains have been canceled:

• №8/7 Odesa – Kharkiv;
• №148/147 Odesa – Kyiv;
• №774/773 Kyiv – Shostka.

"In the period from December 15 to January 13, we will adjust the schedule of some trains for technical reasons. We understand that these changes may cause inconvenience, so we have already taken care of alternative routes that will allow you to comfortably reach your destination," the statement said.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, "Ukrzaliznytsia" has scheduled several trains for the Christmas and New Year holidays – to Truskavets, Lviv, Odesa, Chernivtsi, and Uzhhorod. However, they will be temporary – the trains are scheduled for certain days in December and January.
