Ukrzaliznytsia has appointed a new train in a popular direction: how much do tickets cost
Ukrzaliznytsia has launched a new train to Lviv, a popular tourist destination among Ukrainians. However, it will be temporary - flights are scheduled for only 2 days in December.
This was reported by the carrier itself. They noted:
- We are talking about train #191/192 Kyiv - Lviv.
- The flights will be made on December 1 and 8.
Train schedule
According to Ukrzaliznytsia, the train will depart from Kyiv on December 1 and 8 at 8:18. Arrival in Lviv is at 14:59.
The train will depart from Lviv on December 1 and 8 at 14:14. Arrival in Kyiv is at 21.33.

"Ukrzaliznytsia has appointed a new train to run abroad
At the same time, Ukrzaliznytsia has launched a direct daily train between Kyiv and Budapest. It will make its first trip on December 15, and tickets cost about UAH 3,000. They noted that train No. 9/10 will run in standard sleeping cars: compartment (4 seats) and suite (2 seats). The cost of tickets in a compartment for a train from Kyiv to Lviv (for the December 8 flight) is UAH 767.09.
"A lot of diplomatic work was preceded by the appointment of this flight, so that wide cars in the amount of at least 8 per flight could deliver Ukrainians from and to the capital of Hungary. It is here that the Ferenc Liszt Airport, the largest airport in the region, is located, and many of its flights are now synchronized with the Ukrainian train," the statement said.
According to Ukrzaliznytsia, the train will depart from Kyiv daily at 10:16. Arrival in Budapest is at 06:00.
The train will depart from Budapest at 22:40. Arrival in Kyiv is at 19:11.
"The schedule is designed so that passengers can conveniently transfer to trains in the direction of Vienna (the journey will take less than three hours), Salzburg, Munich, Innsbruck, Zurich, as well as in the direction of Romania, Slovenia and other European countries. The waiting time between transfers is no more than two hours," Ukrzaliznytsia said.
As reported by OBOZ.UA, Ukrzaliznytsia is also launching an international route from Kyiv to Bratislava (Slovakia) via Chop. The first flight is scheduled for December 15. The total cost of tickets is about UAH 2,200.
