Jastremska reached the third round of Roland Garros 2024
Ukrainian tennis player Diana Yastremska easily reached the third round of the French Open – Roland Garros 2024. The 24-year-old from Odesa simply knocked Yafan Wang of China off the court, whom she defeated in two games, giving up only two games.
The match lasted 57 minutes and brought Yastremska a 6-2, 6-0 victory. Our compatriot served once to win, converted six out of nine breakpoints, and won 21 active games. In addition, the Ukrainian twice broke her serve, meaning she did not allow her opponent to score a single point.
Diana also managed to realize five out of nine net outputs. Our tennis player has two double faults and 11 unforced errors.
Yastremska will compete with the third world number three, American Coco Hauff, to reach the last 16. The girls have met each other once before – a month ago, the Ukrainian lost 4-6, 1-6 at a tournament in Madrid.
