Diana Yastremska
Dayana Yastremskaya is a famous Ukrainian tennis player.
Brief Biography
Dayana Yastremskaya was born in Odessa, in 2000.
She began playing sports at the age of five. As a result, from gymnastics, dance, tennis and swimming she chose tennis.
Already at the age of twelve Yastremskaya reached the finals of the famous Orange Bowl Cup.
At fifteen she won her first professional tennis title, winning the Brazilian ITF 25 000. In addition to her confident victory, Yastremskaya became the first tennis player of the 2000s generation to win the ITF title.
In 2016 the athlete reached the finals of the Wimbledon girls singles tournament. She also became an Australian Open doubles finalist at the same time.
Later she won the Rome ITF tournament and also made it to the finals in tournaments in Great Britain and France.
Diana was then invited by the WTA organizers in Istanbul, Turkey. There Diana was agitated to change her citizenship to Turkish, but the Ukrainian refused.
In 2018, Yastremska confidently won the WTA tournament in Hong Kong, becoming a new sports star in Ukraine and becoming the youngest Ukrainian to win the WTA.
In February 2019, the athlete won the Thailand tennis tournament, earning $250,000 for first place.

She has one ITF title and three WTA titles to her credit.
