Ukrainian champion sold by Dynamo broke his leg during training
Dnipro-1 midfielder Bohdan Lednev was seriously injured during a training session. The 25-year-old champion of Ukraine with Dynamo Kyiv suffered a fracture of the fibula during a hard-hit training session.
According to the Tatotake Telegram channel, Lednev's recovery period is March-April. He will need surgery, which will take place in Germany, most likely in Munich.
Lednev's teammate Oleksii Hutsuliak confirmed the information about the injury.
"Unfortunately, it is true. He broke his leg during training. It is always very unpleasant, so the team was upset. It's a pity for Bohdan because he was starting to get fit. He already had a similar problem, so in fact there was a relapse," Hutsuliak was quoted as saying by UPL TV.
As OBOZ.UA reported, Lednev moved from Dynamo to Dnipro-1 in the summer of 2023 for 500 thousand euros. Since then, he has played 20 matches, scoring 4 goals.
The footballer has been in the Dynamo system since 2016. He played 32 matches in all tournaments and scored 2 goals. He also scored 6 goals in seven matches of the UEFA Youth League 2016/2017.
