Ukraine's incredible 40-meter goal in the Euro 2024 qualifying scored in the last seconds. Video of the masterpiece
Oleksandr Karavaev, defender of the Ukrainian national football team, scored a fantastic goal in the match against North Macedonia. The Dynamo player scored a long-range goal in the last seconds of the match.
With the score 1-0 in the sixth added minute, the Yellow and Blues got a chance for a quick counterattack. The 31-year-old native of Kherson took out the opponent in one move and rushed to the goal, but instead of passing to his partner, he decided to take a shot.
Karavaev saw that Stole Dimitrievski had gone far out of the net, so he was able to score the goal.
All that Macedonian goalkeeper saw was the ball rolling into the empty net.
Oleksandr himself commented on his success, "I wanted to pass the ball, but I saw that Yarema was not in time. And when I saw the goalkeeper make a step to the left, I thought, 'Well, I'll shoot it. It turned out that I scored.'
