Ukraine won the group and reached the quarterfinals of EuroBasket U-20

Ukraine's men's national team defeated Kosovo in the final match of the U-20 European Championship group round with a score of 67:50. Thanks to this victory, our youth team took first place in the group and guaranteed its participation in the quarterfinals of the playoffs.

Our team took the lead at the start of the game and kept it throughout the match. The Ukrainian national team conceded only 20 points in the first half and created a comfortable handicap due to quality defense. Our team had the best shooting performance, rebounding advantage and committed fewer turnovers (12-19), thus scoring 12 points more than the Kosovars after the opponent's mistakes.

Daniil Sipalo recorded another double-double in the tournament with 14 points and 13 rebounds, Kirill Skutelnik scored 14 points, making 4 of 9 three-pointers, and Serafim Novikov had 11 points.

In the quarterfinals, the teams from Group C will play the teams from Group D, where the quarterfinalists have already been determined. The first place in the group was guaranteed ahead of schedule by the hosts, Romania, who won all three of their matches, while Georgia was second, winning three matches in four and skipping the last game day.

Ukraine will play Georgia, and the second place in our group will play Romania. The matches will take place on Friday, July 19.
