Ukraine Olympic House to show Alan Badoev's documentary The Hardest Hour
Alan Badoev and 1+1 Ukraine will screen his acclaimed documentary at the Ukrainian Olympic House VOLIA SPACE on August 3.
On Saturday, July 27, for the first time in the history of the Olympic Games, the Ministry of Youth and Sports initiated a unique cultural and information platform VOLIA SPACE. The location is located in La Villette Park in Paris. The goal of the initiative is to show the amazing will of our athletes to win and to introduce guests to Ukraine and its culture.
VOLIA SPACE will host meetings with famous Ukrainian athletes, cultural figures and public figures who will talk about Ukraine's current situation during Russia's full-scale invasion, the conditions in which our athletes prepared for the Olympic Games, and the difficulties faced by Ukrainian infrastructure due to the constant attacks by the aggressor country.
One of the most anticipated events at the Ukrainian Olympic House VOLIA SPACE will be the screening of the documentary The Hardest Hour (Dovha Doba). The film's director, Alan Badoev, will also attend the event.

The VOLIA SPACE location has become a reality thanks to the cooperation of the French authorities - the French Ministry of Sport, the Office of the President of Ukraine, the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, the Embassy of Ukraine in the French Republic, the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine, and Ukrainian companies. The Ukrainian House in Paris will be open until August 10.
Each video in the 120-minute film was shot by Ukrainians.

The documentary The Hardest Hour is a drama based on 200 hours of video footage shot by ordinary Ukrainians on their smartphones across the country during the full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022. It is a "time capsule" that shows Russia's crimes through the eyes of Ukrainians, and which the world should not forget.
The documentary by director Alan Badoev and the 1+1 Ukraine TV channel has already been screened in more than 30 countries. Special screenings of the film were also held at NATO Headquarters in Brussels and the Council of Europe, and are available for download on Netflix and the British video platform OD365.
