Lunin wants to stay at Real Madrid

Ukraine's goalkeeper Andriy Lunin has expressed his desire to continue his career at Real Madrid and his willingness to extend his contract with the royal club. At the same time, our compatriot made it clear that he demands more playing minutes from Carlo Ancelotti's coaching staff than he had before last season.

The day before, Lunin interrupted his vacation and began pre-season training with Real Madrid. After the training session, the Ukrainian emphasized that he did not hide his priority goal of playing for the Madrid giants. "I made it clear: I want to continue playing here. But I want to play," our goalkeeper told El Chiringuito de Jugones.

According to the Defensa Central portal, Andriy had a conversation with the Italian coach of the team, who also favors keeping the Ukrainian at Real Madrid. "Now I expect you to fight for a place in the starting lineup," Ancelotti told the Blue and Yellows goalkeeper.

We know that Lunin rejected a multimillion-dollar offer from Saudi Arabia. He is in the sphere of interest of London's Arsenal.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, Andriy Lunin called his mistakes in the opening match of the European Championship against Romania, in which the Blue and Yellows lost 0:3, fatal.
