Fury ended his career

Former world heavyweight champion Tysonm Fury (34-2-1, 24 KOs) has decided to retire from the professional ring. The Gypsy King, as the Briton is known, thanked all the fans for their support throughout his 16-year career.

He announced this in a video message on his Instagram page. Fury added that he enjoyed every moment of his boxing career.

"Hello everyone, I'm going to make a short and transparent statement. I would like to announce that I am retiring from boxing. It's been an amazing ride. I've enjoyed every minute of it. God bless everyone, I'll see you on the other side of the ring. Let's go!" said Fury.

It is important to note that Tyson has already announced his retirement twice. In 2017, he announced that he was retiring from boxing after defeating Volodymyr Klychko, and in 2022, after defeating Dillian Whyte (30-3, 20 KOs). After those statements, Fury returned to the ring a few months later.

The Watford native began his career in 2008. The British fighter gained worldwide fame after a fight with Klychko Jr. from whom he took the championship belts by unanimous decision.
