In an era when smartphones have become an integral part of life, the iPhone continues to surprise and delight with its innovations. Even though Apple is constantly updating and improving technology, some useful features of the device go unnoticed.
Even the most experienced iPhone owners may not be aware of all their smartphones' possibilities. That's why the Daily Mail told us about two hidden features in iMessage that can change the rules of correspondence.
Both features have been available to users for many years. However, even today, not everyone knows about them.
Emoji overlay
This feature, released with iOS 16, will be intuitive to many. First, you need to start a chat with a friend in iMessage. Then send any emoji, and when it's sent, hold down another emoji, drag it to the first one you sent, and release it.
You can do this overlay several times with completely different emojis to create a unique composition.
It's worth noting that only iPhone users can see these messages.
Invisible text message
This feature, like overlaid emojis, is supported in iMessage. It was created in 2016, but not everyone knows about it yet.
To send an invisible text message, first type the text you want to send, but instead of just sending it, press the Send button and hold it down until a series of four options appear.
Tap the last one, Invisible Ink or Invisible Ink, and send. You will see that instead of text, the message will consist of small sparkles.
To unlock such a message and read it, just click on it. After you read the text, it will disappear again.
