Tulips are already blooming in Kyiv as the weather warms up. Currently, they can be seen in the city center, in particular on Independence Square and European Square.

This was reported by the press service of the Kyiv City State Administration. Soon the flowers will be seen in other locations in the capital.

"Tulips are beginning to bloom in the capital. This spring, their colorfulness will be seen in the city center, in particular on Independence Square, European Square, Landscape Alley, Taras Shevchenko Park, and near the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine," the statement reads.

In addition, according to Kyivzelenbud, tulips are planted in the following locations in Kyiv:

Desnianskyi district:

  • Roman Shukhevych Avenue;
  • a park with water bodies along Roman Shukhevych Avenue;
  • Viacheslav Veremii Park;
  • Desnianskyi Park;
  • Festyvalnyi Park;
  • Molodizhnyi Park;
  • Ankara Square;
  • Kyoto Park.

Dniprovskyi and Darnytskyi districts:

  • transport interchange near the Chernihivska metro station;
  • O. Koshytsia Square;
  • M. Bazhana Avenue;
  • transport interchange near the Livoberezhna metro station;
  • Peremoha Park;
  • park on Rusanivska embankment.

Holosiivskyi district:

  • Holosiivskyi Park of Culture and Recreation named after Maksym Rylskyi;
  • Holosiivska Square;
  • Holosiivska avenue;
  • Mariupol Heroes Square;
  • Odeska Square;
  • Saperno-Slobidska str;
  • Mykola Hrinchenko str;
  • Peace Square;
  • Lybidska Square;
  • the park on Ivan Fedorov Street.

Obolonskyi district:

  • Natalka Park;
  • Pushcha-Vodytsia park;
  • Pryrechna Street;
  • Obolonskyi Avenue (installation in the form of a map of Ukraine).

Pecherskyi district:

  • Lesia Ukrainka Blvd;
  • Navodnytskyi Park;

Podil district:

  • Kurenivskyi Park;
  • Public gardens No. 1 and No. 2 on Kontraktova Square;

Sviatoshynskyi district:

  • at the junction of Beresteyskyi Avenue and Kiltseva Road;
  • 97, 112 Beresteyskyi Avenue.

"Please note that during martial law, Kyivzelenbud does not plant or hold flower exhibitions on the territory of the Spivoche Pole (The Singing Field)," the Administration added.
