Toyota to launch luxury SUV Century: what the car will impress with
A year ago, the Japanese car brand Toyota introduced the Century luxury SUV. However, it was the only copy created with the participation of the Gazoo Racing team of drivers who tested new products at the German Nürburgring racetrack. Such cars are labeled GRMN (Gazoo Racing tuned by "Meister of Nürburgring").
The first owner of the car was Toyota CEO Akio Toyoda. However, the company soon decided to put the model into production so that "many people from all over the world could drive it," writes Motor1.
The Toyota Century GRMN initially existed in a single copy, but then it was decided to launch a series.

Built on the TNGA platform, the regular Century SUV is known to be offered with a 406 hp V-6 hybrid engine. It is unclear at this time whether the GRMN will get the V-8 engine that the previous-generation Century sedan offered. The previous version was the only Toyota in history to come with a V-12, but it is unlikely that this powerplant will return.
At the moment, journalists expect the Century SUV GRMN to impress them with its power. After all, it belongs to the type of car that is the pinnacle of quality among all Toyotas. The brand also sells its models with the GR Sport nameplate, but they are mostly limited to cosmetic changes and minor suspension modifications. More substantial updates can be found under the GR label. But none of them reached the GRMN standards.
The model impresses not only with its powerful performance but also with its luxurious interior.

Usually, these models were produced in small batches and sold mostly exclusively in the Japanese market. However, the GRMN Yaris once reached Europe, and the upcoming GRMN Supra should be even more accessible and is expected to be sold even in the United States.
The regular Century SUV is currently sold only in Japan and China. However, Toyota has already hinted at creating a high-performance SUV of the GRMN class. This will not be the only version of the Century SUV, as Toyota has already built a convertible on its basis, which will be used as a ceremonial car for the Japanese Sumo Association.
