Top 6 life hacks that will change the way you think about cleaning

Lese Mmolotsi, who lives in Ireland, shared six cleaning life hacks that she wishes she had known about earlier, and users called some of them "genius."

She told about them in a video on her TikTok. The woman shared tips for dealing with dirt on mattresses, radiators, rugs, etc., describing them as "effective" methods that work for her.

According to her, many people have candles or wax burners at home for a pleasant aroma. And candle wax can also be used for cleaning. So, the woman advised rubbing candle wax on the sink taps to make them shine again.

To remove stains from mattresses, she uses shaving cream by applying a generous amount to the mattress, wiping the stained area with a brush, and then wiping it with a cloth.

Her next trick is to spray baking soda on the carpet or doormat to "deodorize" it. Baking soda is a common cleaning product, but you may not have ever used it in this way. Les sprinkles it all over the carpet before vacuuming it.

Her fourth cleaning tip involves using a hair dryer to get rid of dust that has collected on the radiator. She simply moves the hair dryer across the top of the radiator and places a mat underneath to collect all the dust.

To keep the trash can always smelling fresh, she throws cotton balls soaked in essential oil in it.

Her fifth trick involves using a flat mop to easily clean kitchen cabinets: just pour dishwashing liquid into the sink, wet the mop head, and then use a vertical motion to clean the cabinets.

The last tip she shared shows how she applies toothpaste to the joints between the tiles in the bathroom, thoroughly cleaning them with a brush, and finally rinsing them off with water and wiping them dry with a cloth.
