The authors of the list relied on crash test data from the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) to compile the list.
Genesis GV70

- Overall rating: 8.6/10
The Genesis GV70 took first place in the magazine's ranking of compact luxury SUVs. And its high safety rating is only part of the equation. This stylish crossover with a good price-performance ratio seats five people, offers many features and boldly challenges more expensive European brands. The 2024 GV70 has not been fully tested by the NHTSA, but the IIHS awarded it a "good" rating in all crash tests and also awarded it a Top Safety Pick+ rating.
Hyundai Ioniq 5
