Car WOW experts have compiled a list of 10 such cars. These are rare and exotic cars that really only get more expensive over time because they are a collector's item.

Vauxhall VX220 Turbo

The Vauxhall VX220 was launched in 2000 with the intention of adding some glamor to the British brand. The model was designed by the specialists of the Lotus stable. Hence its sporty character. However, the VX220 is equipped with airbags and ABS. Many modern drivers will feel more comfortable with these essentials.

BMW Z1

There is no such thing as a "cheap" BMW Z1, but most experts agree that they are still undervalued for a rare two-seater sports car from a prestigious brand. This may be partly due to the fact that the Z1 has a modest 3 Series base, but in terms of style, it can compete with real supercars. This also means that the car is relatively cheap to maintain.

The pinnacle here was the furious mid-engine V6 engine installed in 182 models. It still undoubtedly has investment potential. However, you will have to carefully choose a car that has been handled carefully and kept all the goodies in good condition.

Audi A2

This car may not have been a commercial success in the beginning. But time was kind to the Audi A2. The arched-roof hatchback was an expensive curiosity at first, but now it looks like a solid future classic. Which is ironic, since the A2's body was made of lightweight aluminum. This made the model extremely economical. Especially the configuration equipped with a three-cylinder turbodiesel engine. This makes the TDI the most desirable of the A2. It marked a revolution for the company thanks to the latest advanced alloy chassis developed in the Lotus stable. This made the DB9 very light. No Aston is going to be cheap to run, but this model got a lot of components from Ford and Volvo, which kept prices relatively low. Most DB9s were with automatics, making the rare manuals more desirable and expensive.

Fiat Seicento Schumacher

The compact Fiat Seicento Sporting won't take up much space in your garage, even if you have a decent collection there. Although the "regular" Seicento is already a relative rarity, it is the special Schumacher version that has the greatest potential for value growth. Fiat produced only 5000 copies - 2500 each in yellow and red colors. And all with a special license plate and optional ABS brakes.
