WBC, WBO, WBA, and IBO world heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (23-0, 14 KOs) said that he wants to inspire other people to achieve similar things with his success. The day before, the 37-year-old super heavyweight received three awards from The Ring magazine at a ceremony in London.

After that, Oleksandr thanked his family, team, Turki Al Al-Sheikh and Tyson Fury on Instagram, addressing his fans.

"I want to inspire people to dream big and work hard. I want to inspire people to help each other. Before every fight, we hold a charity event. We help Ukraine because we are Ukrainians. This is my message to the boxing community: help those in need. Help Ukraine. And now let's help the people in California who lost their homes in the fire. Share what the Lord gives you, and He will give you even more," Oleksandr wrote.

As a reminder, Usyk received the award for the best round of 2024. It was the 9th three-minute round in the first fight against Tyson Fury (34-2-1, 24 KOs).

In this episode, the Ukrainian boxer knocked the Briton out. The fight itself ended with Usyk's victory by split decision, making the Ukrainian the first absolute heavyweight champion in the last 25 years.

Oleksandr Usyk also won the prize for the best boxer of 2024.
