Journalist Tetiana Kulyk was killed in a terrorist attack in the Kyiv region by the Russian Federation. She was the author and host of the Nation of the Invincibles project.
This was reported by Ukrinform. The tragedy occurred on the night of February 26.
"As a result of a Russian nighttime drone attack in the Kyiv region, Ukrinform journalist Tetiana Kulyk, the author and host of the Nation of the Invincibles project, who served as the editor-in-chief of the Main Multimedia Editorial Office, was killed," the statement said.
It is noted that Kulyk was a member of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine. She worked as the editor-in-chief of the public affairs program department and a presenter at the Central Channel (KDTRK), the World Service of Radio Broadcasting of Ukraine, and a TV presenter at Public Broadcasting.
She studied at the National University of Culture and Arts. She started her career as a literary editor, and in 2015-2017 she was the deputy director of Khreshchatyk 26.
"Tetiana Kulyk was a great journalist, she made many programs about our struggle and our heroes. Just yesterday we were talking about preparing an interview with Kirill Budanov. She will always remain in our hearts and in our memory. We will avenge our colleague with materials that expose the war crimes of the aggressor. And, as Kyrylo Budanov said in this interview, all the torturers of the Ukrainian people will definitely be punished," added the publication's CEO Serhiy Cherevaty.
Tetiana's family and friends also wrote about the great loss for our country.
"You did so much for the people of Ukraine, you were a wonderful journalist, friend and mother. This grief and horror are beyond words. Let all those involved in Russia's inhuman war against Ukraine be held accountable," summarized Kateryna Belka.
As OBOZ.UA previously reported, a fire broke out in a two-story private house in the Bucha district of Kyiv region on February 25 due to an enemy drone attack: rescuers found the body of a woman there, and later it became known about another victim.
