"They brought him home and shot him": occupants killed a schoolboy in front of his family in Kherson region

In the temporarily occupied part of the Kherson region, in one of the settlements, the occupiers recently shot dead a schoolboy. The 8th grade student was executed in front of his family, and his mother tried to commit suicide afterward.

The reason for the murder of the teenager was the suspicion of the invaders that he had allegedly taken a picture of something wrong. The head of the Kherson regional military administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, said this during a press conference on December 21.

According to him, the invaders committed another horrific crime in one of the occupied settlements of Kherson region on December 20.

"The situation there is terrible... An 8th grade student was killed in one of the communities, in one of the settlements. Right in front of his family... They grabbed him, brought him home and shot him dead because he was just passing by and allegedly taking pictures somewhere," he said.

After the massacre, the boy's mother tried to commit suicide, Prokudin added.

"The mother almost went crazy, they pulled her out of the noose... Now they are looking for her. It happened yesterday (December 20 - Ed.)," he said.

The head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration added that the principal of the school where the boy killed by the invaders studied would write a statement to the police. An appeal is also being prepared to the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights Dmytro Lubinets and all competent authorities and structures.

Prokudin also said that in the occupied territories of the region, the invaders continue to force passportization of the population. They have launched massive propaganda aimed primarily at children. Teachers are forced to work according to Russian programs.

Earlier, the National Resistance Center said that Russians in the occupied cities are collecting data on teenagers for mobilization in 2024 . The invaders are interested in boys born in 2006.

And in the occupied territories of Kherson region, the occupiers' "military commissariats" developed a mobilization plan in the fall and began issuing draft notices to reserve officers. The so-called military is working on the basis of data provided by residents during the distribution of food packages and illegal fake elections.
